About the role:
We are looking for a forward-thinking, tech-savvy IT Manager / Senior IT Manager to lead Katalon’s internal IT operations and digital enablement initiatives. This is not a traditional infrastructure-heavy IT role. Instead, we are seeking a hands-on and proactive leader who can leverage modern technology to improve productivity, business agility, and enterprise-wide operational efficiency.
In this role, you will oversee internal systems, enterprise applications, and workplace technology while driving initiatives around automation, AI-powered solutions, cloud services, and enterprise application optimization. You will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable technology solutions that enhance operational performance and employee experience.
Core Responsibilities:
IT Leadership & Digital Enablement
- Support and execute IT initiatives aligned with Katalon’s business goals and growth strategy.
- Partner with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency.
- Drive adoption of modern technology platforms (e.g., SaaS, AI-enabled tools, low-code/no-code solutions) to improve collaboration and productivity.
- Act as a trusted IT partner for business teams by providing practical and scalable technology recommendations.
Enterprise Systems & Integration
- Manage and optimize enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, HRIS, and ITSM platforms.
- Ensure system reliability, integration, data accuracy, and operational effectiveness across business functions.
- Support implementation and enhancement projects for enterprise systems and workflow automation initiatives.
- Contribute to reporting, analytics, and data visibility improvements across departments.
Technology Enablement & Workplace Productivity
- Manage and improve workplace productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack, Notion, Atlassian suite).
- Ensure employees have effective systems, tools, and IT support to work efficiently across locations and time zones.
- Identify and implement software solutions that simplify workflows and improve user experience.
IT Operations & Service Excellence
- Lead day-to-day IT operations and support services with a focus on responsiveness and employee experience.
- Monitor IT service performance, incident management, and SLA compliance while driving continuous improvement.
- Mentor and support IT team members, fostering a collaborative and solution-oriented culture.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure reliable IT service delivery.
Vendor & Cost Management
- Support IT procurement activities, including SaaS subscriptions, cloud services, and hardware lifecycle management.
- Manage vendor relationships and assist with contract negotiations and service evaluations.
- Track IT assets, spending, and operational metrics to ensure cost efficiency and business alignment.
Job Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- 5–8 years of progressive experience in IT operations, enterprise systems, or IT management, preferably within SaaS or tech-driven environments.
- Hands-on experience supporting digital transformation initiatives, enterprise system implementations, or workflow automation projects.
Strong understanding of enterprise SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, ServiceNow, or similar systems.
Solid knowledge of cloud platforms, workplace productivity tools, and systems integration concepts.
Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to balance technical and business needs.
Experience managing stakeholders across both technical and non-technical teams.
Excellent communication and project coordination skills in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable driving improvements beyond day-to-day support operations.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in SaaS, consulting, or fast-growing technology companies is highly preferred.
Familiarity with AI/automation tools, low-code platforms, or workflow optimization initiatives is a plus.
Knowledge of IT governance, security, and compliance frameworks (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
Certifications such as ITIL, PMP, AWS, Azure, or related technologies are advantageous.
Prior experience leading small to mid-sized IT teams is a plus.
